What customers say?

“ Very delicious authentic Bengali food that’s just a short bus ride from Venice! We came from New York to visit Venice but we were missing our mom’s food. The beef curry and chicken curry were so delicious and we left very satisfied. The owner is so friendly as well! ”

- Sanzida Khan -

“ Stopped by for a snack here — we got a few samosas which were so good! The mutton curry was soft and came with a huge plate of basmathi rice. Nice to find a halal spot close to the Venice Mestre station. This place has one table inside that could seat 6 pax. ”

- Irdina Amin -

“ Homely deshi food in venice! We tried variety of snacks like ‘samosa’ , shingara, daalpuri and ofcourse fuchka and deshi dudh cha! We utterly enjoyed tasting authentic bangali food in abroad! Later for lunch we tried both chicken and beef biriani and they were really tasty! Sweet delicacies are also a must try! ”

“ We tried some Bengali food and snacks and here is my opinion about them. Fuchka: Very good. Though it is a bit pricy. 5 fuchka for 5 euro Halim: Very good. You should definitely try it if available. Puri: Good. We had this with halim Shingara: Average. Nothing special Somucha: Average. Nothing special Beef biriyani: Very bad. You should skip it. It costs 10 euro which is very high considering the portion. Also the taste is not good at all Rosh malai: Very good The owner was nice and friendly. The sitting arrangement is very limited so there is a chance to not get any seat. Also the didn’t want to take card payment which was a downside ”
